Sunset Engagement Session with Mountain Views at Chautauqua Park

There’s something magical about summer evenings in Boulder, especially at Chautauqua Park. This engagement session was my first time meeting this sweet couple in person, and it couldn’t have been a more perfect introduction. Their engagement session was included in their wedding package, and even though the time between this session and their wedding day was a little shorter than most—just two months before their August 31st celebration—it made every moment feel even more meaningful.

We started the evening with a soft overcast sky, which added a calm and dreamy mood to the first part of the session. Then, almost like it was meant to be, the clouds opened up just in time for golden hour. The sunset glow wrapped around them, creating the warmest, most romantic light that truly reflected the love they share.

Their connection radiated through every photo—every smile, every embrace, every kiss felt effortless and genuine. Sessions like this are what I love most: capturing not just the beauty of the scenery, but the way two people light up when they’re with each other.

Spending this evening with them made me even more excited to capture their wedding day in August. If their engagement session was this beautiful and full of love, I can only imagine how incredible their wedding day will be. I can’t wait to document every moment of it!
