Sunset Engagement Session with Mountain Views at Chautauqua Park

There’s something truly magical about summer evenings in Boulder, Colorado—especially at the iconic Chautauqua Park, one of the most scenic spots for engagement photos in the area. As a Boulder engagement photographer, I had the joy of meeting this sweet couple in person for the very first time during their Chautauqua Park engagement session, and it couldn’t have been a more perfect introduction.

Their engagement photos were included in their wedding photography package, and even though we were just two months away from their August 31st Boulder wedding, this session felt extra meaningful. We began the evening under a soft, overcast sky that gave the first part of their session a calm, romantic, and dreamy feel. Then, almost as if the mountains were blessing us, the clouds parted just in time for golden hour. The sun set behind the Flatirons, casting that signature Colorado sunset glow across the park.
