When Val and Matthew first booked me back in November 2024, I knew their wedding day at Wild Basin Lodge in Allenspark, Colorado was going to be something special. Nestled right at the entrance of Rocky Mountain National Park, Wild Basin Lodge is one of the most breathtaking Colorado wedding venues, offering sweeping mountain views, rustic charm, and that intimate lodge feel couples dream about.
What made this wedding even sweeter was that Val was 36 weeks pregnant on her wedding day. The love and excitement between her and Matthew were so tangible—you could feel it radiating through every smile, every touch, and every glance they shared.
