Springtime Bliss: A Romantic Late-April Elopement in a Scenic Mountain Park
Melissa and Dan’s elopement on April 24, 2024, was a beautiful celebration of love, simplicity, and individuality. Deciding to take a non-traditional approach, they began their day with a courthouse ceremony before heading to Viestenz-Smith Mountain Park in Loveland, CO, for an intimate portrait session to commemorate their marriage.
With no bridal party, family, or large crowds, it was just the three of us in this stunning mountain park setting. The peaceful atmosphere allowed us to focus entirely on capturing Melissa and Dan’s love for one another. Without the typical pressures of a full wedding day, we were able to take our time and enjoy the session, creating portraits that truly reflected their connection and joy.
Melissa and Dan’s sweet and easygoing personalities shone through during the shoot. They were up for every pose I suggested, embracing the opportunity to make their photos unique and personal. The way they looked at each other, with so much love and admiration, made every image feel authentic and heartfelt.
It was an honor to celebrate this special moment with Melissa and Dan and to witness their deep bond firsthand. Their decision to keep things simple and focus on each other was a reminder of what truly matters on a wedding day: love and connection. Melissa and Dan, thank you for letting me be part of your incredible story. I wish you all the happiness in the world as you begin this exciting new chapter together.
