Elana & Chance | Ellis Ranch Wedding

On September 28, 2025, I had the honor of capturing Elana and Chance’s beautiful wedding day at Loveland. From the very beginning, they have been one of the sweetest couples to work with, and I was thrilled when they first booked me for photography. When they later decided to add videography as well, my excitement only grew. In the months leading up to the wedding, Elana and I worked closely together to craft a timeline that allowed us to capture every moment they were dreaming of—and their day unfolded even more beautifully than we could have imagined.

The morning began with quiet, meaningful moments as Elana and Chance shared time getting ready before we moved into individual bridal portraits of Elana. She looked absolutely stunning, glowing with anticipation for the day ahead. One of the most emotional moments came during their private first touch outside the venue. Standing back-to-back, they held hands and read personal vows to one another—a heartfelt exchange that allowed them to connect without seeing each other before the ceremony.

Just before the ceremony, Elana shared a sweet first look with her dad. Then came one of the most unforgettable entrances I’ve ever witnessed. Elana stepped into a horse-drawn carriage and took a scenic ride through the canyon, eventually emerging over the ridge behind the ceremony gazebo. As the carriage appeared, the emotion was immediate—Chance couldn’t hold back his tears as he saw his bride arrive. The carriage circled to the aisle entrance, where her father helped her down and proudly walked her to meet her groom.

Their ceremony was heartfelt and full of love, surrounded by family and friends who were fully present in the moment. Afterward, Elana and Chance recessed down the aisle together and climbed back into the carriage, sharing a quiet ride around to the front of the venue as newlyweds.

We then moved into family portraits, bridal party photos, and romantic portraits of the couple, taking full advantage of the stunning scenery that makes Ellis Ranch so special. The celebration continued with a lively grand entrance into the reception hall, followed by dinner, toasts, cake cutting, and their first dance.

Their first dance was truly magical. Elana and Chance performed a beautifully choreographed routine, and the way her dress sparkled and moved across the floor made the moment feel straight out of a fairytale. Elana later shared a touching dance with her father, while Chance honored someone very special. Not long after they booked their wedding back in November 2024, Chance’s mother passed away unexpectedly. Her absence was deeply felt throughout the day, but during the reception, Chance shared a meaningful dance with his grandmother in her honor—a moment filled with love, remembrance, and family support.

Elana and Chance’s wedding day was the perfect reflection of their relationship: heartfelt, intentional, and full of deep love for one another and the people around them. It was an incredible honor to capture both their photos and films and to witness such meaningful moments from start to finish. Their day was truly unforgettable, and I’m so grateful to have been part of their story.
