Laura & Ryan | Ken Caryl Vista Wedding
August 18, 2025 was one of those Colorado summer days that felt like pure magic from beginning to end. Laura and Ryan’s wedding at Littleton was filled with emotion, personal touches, and so many moments that perfectly reflected their joyful, playful love.
A Sweet Start to the Day
The morning began at the bride’s Airbnb, where Laura was surrounded by her bridesmaids and family. The space was full of laughter, happy anticipation, and those quiet, meaningful moments that make the getting-ready portion of the day so special. From final touches of makeup to emotional hugs, the excitement for what was ahead was felt by everyone in the room.
After documenting these moments, I headed over to the venue to capture the details—beautiful florals, carefully chosen décor, and all the little elements Laura and Ryan had thoughtfully planned to bring their vision to life.
A Private First Touch
Before the ceremony, Laura and Ryan shared a private first touch where they stood back-to-back and read personal vows to one another. It was an incredibly intimate and emotional moment. You could feel just how deeply they love and respect each other. There’s something so powerful about slowing down the day for a quiet connection before everything officially begins—and this moment was truly unforgettable.
A Ceremony Full of Heart (and Sunshine)
As guests gathered, the Colorado sun began peeking through the clouds at just the right time, casting the most beautiful light over the ceremony.
One of the most meaningful parts of the day? Laura’s father officiated. Having him lead the ceremony added such a personal and emotional layer that made the experience even more special for everyone present.
Portraits & Celebration
Following the ceremony, we moved into family portraits, bridal party photos, and golden-hour portraits of the newlyweds. Laura and Ryan were absolute naturals together—playful, affectionate, and completely wrapped up in the joy of finally being married.
After portraits, they joined their guests for cocktail hour as the celebration transitioned into a stunning reception space.
A Reception to Remember
The reception was truly beautiful, from the elegant room design to the energy on the dance floor. Laura and Ryan shared a graceful first dance, and their cake cutting was picture-perfect.
But the night didn’t stop there.
Ryan surprised everyone with a full dance number—complete with props—for the garter toss. Just when guests thought the entertainment was over, Laura pulled off her own surprise: she had hidden a bottle of Smirnoff Ice under her dress, officially “icing” the groom before he could remove the garter. The crowd loved every second of it.
The bouquet toss brought even more excitement, with guests cheering and diving into the moment.
The Perfect Ending
To close out the night, Laura and Ryan exited through a tunnel of bubbles, surrounded by their favorite people and the kind of joy that makes a wedding day feel truly complete.
Their wedding was the perfect blend of heartfelt emotion, personal meaning, and fun—an absolute honor to capture from start to finish.
